Anyone know a good, safe replacement for limewire that is free?
Ever since limewire was shut down over the summer, I've gone crazy without my music. I really cannot afford to buy music from iTunes, and would like a new site to get my music from. My sister's boyfriend recommended frost-wire to me, but it won't work right on my computer. I need them to be for Mac OS, please.

You can download SoulSeek, a P2P file sharing software usually used for music. It's awesome for more indie-alternative music groups/ artists, with a lot of more mainstream ones as well but you won't really find much britney spears and stuff like that on it if that's the kind of thing you're looking for. It's also virus free. If this doesn't suit you, you can always use MediaFire. You sign up on line, it's free, and you can download individual songs/ albums from it. I've had good experiences with both programs. Hope this helped!
