Why does my cursor keep getting stuck?
I am having trouble with my mouse. The cursor is getting stuck, then it makes a bing sound every time it happens. I have a Kensington Valumouse Optical K64381, and it is not wireless. I have had it for a couple of years. I don't know if it's the mouse or the computer. HELP!!!
Thank You Rockindo. I will give your suggestions a try.

Have you tried using a different mouse? That would tell you if it's the mouse or the computer.
You could try uninstalling / reinstalling the mouse driver if you don't have a different mouse to use.
* Go to control panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Mice and other Pointing Devices >
* Click the plus sign to expose link to mouse properties.
* The Status box should read "This device is working properly."
If not, then it's your mouse. Or it could have a driver issue
* Click the driver tab.
* Click the uninstall button at the bottom, then restart your computer.
* Now the computer will find the driver in it's records and reinstall it.
That should solve the issue, unless the mouse has failed. Since it's not wireless, then a battery is not the issue here.
