What fruit or vege is good to feed budgies?

They eat literally any fruits and vegetables...make sure to take out the seeds though (poisonous to these birds)...oh yeah! and don't give them avocados(also r poisonous 2 such birds)... Hope that helps!

U should feed them their seeds too ...gives them their basic supplements...also remember to have a cuttlebone in their cage (helps their beaks not get too long -grows 3 inches a year- and they get their calcium intake...)

You can try a bit of fresh parsley or carrot tops clipped inside the cage, but budgies are mainly seed eaters and don't eat much vegie material. It would be better to offer them some pelleted food instead to help with vitamin and mineral balance.

yes it is very good for them to eat that just dont give them seeds or pits. bannanas and strawberries are good for them try that and check some onlie sites to see what kind of fruits they cannot eat because there is some they cannot eat. try to consult a avian vet.

They can have alfalfa and other sprouts. Apple put make sure that you take the pit out as it is very dangerous for your bird.

after about 7 or 8 parakeets,the only 2 i can think of that they shouldn't have is tomatoes (not sauce because mine ate it, with pasta and grated cheese ) and avocado's due to them being toxic

We have cockatiels,but I think they all seem to eat the same thing.We give ours watermelon,strawberry & apple.Never tried any vegies but they love fresh lucerne & clover.
