Change of adress problems...?
Hello all,
My insurance is due for renewal (next two weeks). I've moved house and updated my address with the DVLA. But I forgot to update my V5C so officially the car is still registered to my parents' place I'm guessing. I'd renew it right away except my road tax renewal date is also coming up and since they say it could take 4 weeks for the V5C to return, that might cause me trouble :(
Would it affect the insurance folks if I leave the V5C update til after my road tax is renewed or will they claim insurance fraud? Cos this is the cheapest insurance quote I've found so really dont wanna mess it up... Thanks all!

In practice the V5C update will actually take less than a week so just get on with it as the road tax could still be done on the internet with details that your parents could give you if you are too far away from them to pick it up.
