The concept of Hell is completely a Christian invention. It was made up to out fear into the population. There is NO Concept if hell to Jews. Jews take the concept of ashs to ashes-dust to dust literally. When they die that is the end. There is no hell and there is no Heaven.

In Judaism Hell is the grave. Period. Simply the hole in the ground where the dead are placed.
Try again, riommar7 - There is a heaven - the place where G*D dwells, We will be resurrected to the World to come. It is up to G8d to decide who goes there and what it is like. All those the follow these laws have an equal share in the world to come.

* To refrain from blaspheming Gods name.

* To avoid immoral practices, specifically incest and adultery.

I've never met a Jew that believes in hell...few of them believe in heaven as a place they'll live in the after life either.

A burning hell was the invention of the times of Constantine, early Christians believed the same as the Jews(after all most Christians seem to forget that Jesus was a Jew)

Jesus was espousing the pharisaic doctrine of his time; there would be resurrection of the flesh. (Jesus, or at any rate one of the components of the Jesus myth, is a pharisaic Rabbi generally of the School of Hillel, although on divorce he follows the School of Shammai)
Most Jews, like most Christians, now regard that idea as rather silly.
Christian beliefs range from eternal physical torment, to the knowledge that one is being deprived of the presence of God. Jews have more important things to think about.

There is no different between Hell from Christianity and Judaism. Both have the same punishment if they do love God and accept Him.
