USPS says:package accepted at PORTEE?

My package USPS tracking results for a package from overseas says the package was accepted at PORTEE.

I've never heard of PORTEE. Have you?

What does the U.S. Postal Service mean? What is PORTEE?

Thanks

Update:

No. I am the addressee and I have not received the package. It does not mean that the package was delivered.

That's USPS technical jargon for addressee. That word makes it sound as if they are dealing on a much higher plane of understanding than you. In other words they delivered the package to the person it was sent to.
