State-only citizenship in some US states?

I heard that there are some states in the USA in which you can become a citizen of that state without becoming a US citizen.

Can someone provide a list of such states?

Their is no such thing as becoming a citizen of a state. You will be a citizen of the country.

Totally false. No such thing as "state citizenship." If you thought things through for a moment, you'd realize that a person can only be a citizen of a country, not of a state or province of a country.

It may or may not be legal, and given the complexity of the law, it may be legal today and then declared ILLEGAL by a court ruling tomorrow.

its a sick sad world ...

BTW: I favor STATES RIGHTS and by that standard there should be STATE CITIZENSHIP

    and NO Federal Citizenship.
