Is anyone else with me? Please join me on my quest to restore balance and sanity!?
I've developed my theory of spirituality, please, those who agree and even those who don't, share your thoughts.
The world is a mess, sent awry by overindulgence and disconnectedness. Humans have lost their way, and place, in the world. We were, at one time, a part of the natural world, which we left unmarred. Now, we see ourselves as superior, we have resorted to destruction and destroyed our linkage to the balance of life. The world's life is made up of energy, which flows through us, and continues on as part of the natural world after our passing. If we could only return to our energy, become again what we once were, connected to everyone and everything through the vital life force. There is no god, only the mass of souls which is shared.
Technology, overindulgence, and advancement are the source of our destruction, but we still have time to rebuild by abandoning the modern urges which have hijacked us. We can return to a life of sustenance and reality by recognizing our faults and leaving them.
What I'm saying is that by following our energy, which will lead us back to a state of equality and sharing with the rest of the world, that will make us realize that we are not a part of the puzzle, but that all life and earth is the puzzle itself, then we can finally live in happiness and peace for generations.
I'm sorry if this confuses some, it's very difficult to put into words. Look deep within yourself and search for the energy. I can feel it! Swirling around. Crying for all that is lost and the blindness that consumes the human species cannot aid in finding...

Sounds good to me. But I don't agree entirely. I'm not against technology.
Think about it. Bee's make beehives. Are beehives unnatural? No. Humans make computers. Why are computers unnatural?
The idea of nature is ambiguous. I believe most of our destruction stems from the implosion of secular society. We have traded togetherness and quality community for the soulless landscape (walmart and malls). We have done more and more to fulfill our material needs while neglecting our very real social/spiritual needs (spiritualism being whatever helps you rise above your egoism for a moment).
From the degradation of the institution of family to the evaporation of public support networks because of lack of money, our society has become cold, unresponsive and bureaucratic. I won't pretend to know the solution. But I have ideas. If you want to do good for humanity, it starts by making friends. And you make friends by being one. And it grows from there to community support/service.

You seem to imply that there was a time when the world was not a mess. When it was not "sent awry by overindulgence and disconnectedness." You seem to imply that there was time when humans were not lost, when the earth was unmarred.
When exactly was this? Best as I know, mankind has always taken from the earth and returned next to nothing. As a matter of fact, with current waste recycling and reforestation measures, mankind seems to be giving back more than ever before.
So, my question is, when was mankind this creature in perfect harmony with nature that you write of, eh?

why do people try to romantacize our connection with nature we had thousands of years ago. reaching 20 years was considered old back then. starvation, disease suffering, where all parts of our daily life. being eaten by predators. life wasnt some mystical connection with everything and rainbows and honey. it was short, brutal and quite unpleasent. you should stop looking to the past. strange as this may seem but the future is where mankinds future is.
and yes we are going through a very troubling time, but that is just because so much has changed in the last 200 years our social adaptation hasnt been able to keep up. our advances in technology has been stagering. an a handfull of decades we went from the first non steam powered engine to putting a man on the moon. now that is the direction we must focus on. we need to get off this god forsaken rock in the middle of nowhere and colonise other planets. maybe even other stars in the not so distant future. because while we are all stuck on one planet. one single major catasrophe could wipe us back to the stone age, if not out of existance. and while you seem to yearn for the stone age i yearn for the stars

Sounds like you've been watching Godfrey Reggio movies.
The energy you're referring to is apparent to all; however, people call it all kinds of things. Getting them all to agree is a virtually impossible noble cause.
