Does 'brushed metal' turn that brassy color from water?
I want to get this piece of jewelry that is silver brushed metal. It's pretty cheap so I'm curious if it's the kind of metal to turn orangey?

Brushed is just a finish on metal - as if you had brushed it with a wire brush. This finish can be used on any metal. It does reveal more of the metal surface and I have noticed that sterling silver in a brushed finish can be prone to faster tarnishing (which can look a little gold - orange).
