When a individual thinks of San Francisco feels at a giant Global Orange-coloured connection, a park spanning significantly more than 1,000 miles or even a town where modern artwork and lifestyle and if you're thinking about that city then this is actually the place to start hotelbye . Among the points for everything you must visit San Francisco is PIER 39. From remarkable views and a sea of sea lions to chowder bread bowls and California wines, your visit to San Francisco starts at PIER 39. That place is probably the most visited destination in San Francisco. It gives two quantities of dining, amusement, shopping and attractions, all surrounded by irresistible views of the town and the bay. Based along the traditional San Francisco waterfront, PIER 39's spot provides the image great background for postcard views of the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges, Alcatraz, Angel Island and the famous city skyline.

In my opinion I would avoid Greyhound as there are many better choices which offer more comfortable & faster service at better prices. Other bus operators can be booked at www.gotobus.com. Also, Amtrak rail has several trains per day between Northern & Southern CA along both the San Joaquins & Pacific Surfliner routes. Keep in mind, any bus or rail between SF & LA will take about 7 to 9 hours though. Lastly, air fares between the San Francisco Bay Area & Southern CA are very reasonable if booked in advance. For example, Virgin America, Southwest & Jet Blue routinely have flights for $49 one way. Best Of Luck!

Hollywood is about 450 miles south of San Francisco. It is about a 5-6 hour one way car drive. Or about a 50 minute plane ride. Southwest is probably your best option for flying. And can usually be done for under $100 round trip into burbank or LA.

you can fly down and back in one day, but if you want to spend a little bit of time in both hollywood and universal studios I would allow 1 night stay over.
