Happy New Year! I need help to have my computers connected behind my first router(R1) to the same as the computers connected behind my second router(R2). Here's how they are setup:
R1:
Comcast SMC 8014 gateway (modem):
WAN DHCP IP: 67.1X1.XXX.3
WAN DHCP Subnet Mask: 0.0.0.0
WAN DHCP Default Gateway: 0.0.0.0
DNS : 68.87.76.182
LAN DHCP enabled 10.1.10.10 ~ 10.1.10.199
R2:
LINKSYS BEFW11S4 connected behind the gateway:
WAN IP: 10.1.10.193
subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 10.1.10.1
DNS: 10.1.10.1
Local IP: 192.168.1.1
Local DHCP Server: Disabled
Thank you all for your helps.
I cannot change the local ip for R2 to the 10.1.10.XXX format, or else i could no longer log in to the router, even if i typd in the 10.1.10.XXX address. Neither can I any longer go on the web.

the Local IP: 192.168.1.1 is wrong it needs to be in the same range as the first router

A router is a greater gadget then a change. A router is a Layer 3 gadget a change is a Layer 2. A router already has Switching features there is not any reason to instruct off DHCP till your connecting it to a distinctive router working DHCP, as you're able to in basic terms want one DHCP server to maintain all your gadgets on the comparable community. So by technique of turning off DHCP does not make your router a change, merely not a DHCP Server. you're able to could instruct off greater centers to make it change, which in basic terms handles LLC (logical link administration). A switches interest is to appreciate the place each and every node on the community is without broadcasting... a change is in basic terms a smart hub.
