Good hostage movies, like John Q and The Town?
I love action movies with hostages. Things like John Q, and I liked The Town. Can anyone recommend movies where the "bad" guy takes hostages? I also like it if the hostages then side with the hostage taker (like in John Q.).

Great movie. John Q and the Mrs. had insurance but it wasn't good enough to cover a heart transplant which his son needs. Mr. John Q could have attempted to raise the money through fundraisers or other means like that. I would have attempted to get on the local news to share the story with neighboring towns in hopes of it catching national attention and maybe just maybe there would be a heart surgeon out there that would do the job probono.
