Potty changing diapers or underpants?
I am starting to potty train my son again and give him m&ms as a reward: 1 for trying, 2 for peepee, 3 for poo (not happened yet). The problem is with diapers on he will do a little peepee in the potty to get the m&ms but most is still going in the diaper. Today I took the diaper off after he drank his milk and he went again finally.
Is is best to just leave them off, put on underpants, or use diapers?
Thanks I have two boys I'm talking about the 38 month old. I'd love to train the 20 month old too but he only wants to sit on the potty still with pants on.

Looking at an earlier question it looks like your son is only 20 months. That's still VERY young for potty training. I'd suspect that he simply isn't ready yet.
If you feel you really want to try (and he wants to use the potty ... not just eat m&m's...), I'd try naked training. Strip him bare below the waist with a potty handy. Encourage him gently to use it when he feels the need to go. If he's really ready, he'll be making it most of the time within a couple of days.
EDIT: Ah, thanks for the clarification. I'd still go with naked training. Less work (not counting the clean-ups) and less fuss. For a 3 year old you should be able to amend your plan so he gets candy only if he does a full pee, not a few drops.

Use underpants or pullups and don't give him candy to reward him for doing a basic, normal bodily function...he's not a dog. Simply praise him and tell him what a big boy he is becoming.

under pants- because they don't like the uncomfortable feeling when they are wet or soiled and it works better when training.
