Would it be crazy to sell a 1999 FORD F250 7.3 diesel 4x4 for $5700?
I'm selling a 1999 FORD F250 4x4 with a 7.3 turbo powerstroke diesel long bed truck with 270k mi for $5700 and I get huge amount of calls. A guy wants to buy it for $5700. Everywhere I've looked most people are asking 10000 - 13000. The lowest I've found was $7500 and it's not a 1999. I know diesel worth a lot more. The guy is coming over as i type, what should i tell him or should i sell it?

I wouldn't go up in price after I done SAID what I'd sale it for. You could try to weasle your way out of it....but it would be un-ethical to go up in price.

They aren't asking $10k-$13k for a truck with 270k on the clock. The F-250/350's bringing that kind of money have about half the mileage of yours. Check out Ebay if you don't believe me. I do think that if it's in good shape $5700 is a bit low. $7000-$8000 would be a fair price. But if you've advertised it or agreed on a price of $5700, then you should honor your word.
