  • How to clean signature football?

I have a white signature football (bought new) with a smudge on it. Looks like a last minute ink smudge not affecting any signatures on the ball. I figure one of the players had ink on their hand from accidentally touching another signature and touched the ball and smudged it on there. Can't exactly find anything specific, only to not use water. Any suggestion?

  • Ebay return policy? How?

Ok, here's the deal. I bought an engine off ebay that is covered under buyer protection. The engine came in with the injectors out, two bolts holding the water pump cover with fresh sealant, oil pan had been removed, a set screw ran into the water pump... it looks "fishy". I bought it through Pay-Pal but used credit card. If the seller refuses to willingingly to accept the return and pay return shipping, how do I go about filing a claim?

  • Looking for sectional with outlets?

I found a sectional yesterday and can't remember where. The wedge was a table and had a light built in. The built in recliners were touch controled and there were 110v outlets above the controls. Anyone found a couch like this online?

  • Custody agreement for spouses lving out of state?

Me and my wife are getting divorced. We live out of state, away from any other family. We have agreed to regular visitation schedule, but we are trying to decide on what to do for Christmas. We are talking about if one of us can't go home for Christmas then both of us will stay. But I think the courts may see that as too vauge. More specifically if we do go home, she would have him in the mornings and I would have him rest of the day, no matter if we are here or there.

  • Excel- Refferencing highlighted cells from another sheet?

I have a work detail roster and I want to be able to have another sheet to be filled out just by highlighting (or some other method of selection) employees to make an overtime list.

Is this possible? And to do it where there are no skips if there are gaps between selected names on the master list. Make the overtime list straight down no matter if the master list has gaps in the name selection.

  • Need metric tap with standard thread?

I have a banjo bolt for a 4R100 transmission. I crossed the threads where it goes into. The bolt diameter with thread is 16.5mm (.65"). The thread pitch is SAE 18. Metric 1.5 is close, but not it.

So bolt is 16.5mm w/the threads and 18 threads per inch.

Does anyone know where to get one of these taps made? I looked at some site that do custom taps, but I do not know the information they are requesting.

I thought about using the old banjo bolt and tapering the threads on the end and using my milling machine with regular end mills to make some flutes in it.

  • Totaled my truck, insurance company pricing my truck at trade-in value?

The truck is an 01 F350 crew cab SWR 4x4 with a 7.3 Diesel and 215,541 miles. VIN is 3FTSW31F11MA28609

I talked to the adjuster and the appraiser. They are using NADA book and are pricing my truck by trade in value. That's great but I'm not trading my truck in. Shouldn't it be retail value? The appraiser is saying that my truck is worth $9624 and the salvage value is 43.6% ($4196.06) and I can keep the truck and after the $1000 deductible they will give me $4427.94.

My truck had no major body damage, just usual paint chips. The biggest dent in their appraisal was $855 for the inside of the bed being scratched up, then $695 for minor engine work because they claim it was leaking oil (it has oil residue from the crank case vent, and the residue seeping through inner cooler boots), followed by $375 for transmission work. Transmission was rebuilt 2 years ago with beefed up torque converter and was functioning perfectly. I also had a gauge to monitor transmission temperatures.

    Any links would be great

  • 02 Montero overheating?

Hello, posting for a friend. She has an 02 Montero. She has an odd problem that has myself, another friend, and the mechanic stumped. The problem is when she drives slow, or sometimes idle, it overheats. First, local shop replaced the thermostat, then another mechanic found a miss in #3 cylinder and found coolant in the cylinder. He put block sealant in it and that took care of that problem. I don't believe any got back into the coolant and onto the thermostat, because if it did then it would overheat all the time, my thinking anyways. Other day my buddy and her were at WalMart parking lot, after trying to diagnose it, the engine fan was running and dash temp gauge was "normal". As soon as the condenser fan kicked in it started to overheat. And she does lose coolant, boiling over, so the dash gauge isn't malfunctioning. It also has a new radiator.

  • Using regular aquarium as wall aquarium?

I found wall mount aquariums and like the idea and looks of them...but not the price. Couldn't you just build a STURDY (with water weighing 8.33lbs per gal) case to put it in with a nice wood or polished aluminum front where all you could see is the glass?

  • How to control 3 phase power with temp sensor?

I am wanting to be able to control the 3 phase power to a motor, based on temperature switch (open or clesed?). I'm thinking of something like a relay, but I don't want to buy 3 relays to do it. I want to do this to several machines and want it to be a clean installation that can easily be reproduced by maintenance personell at other factories.

  • 98 Dodge van a/c squeal?

This is a 98 3500 Dodge van/bus. It has new tensioner and belt. It has went through one NEW a/c and on its second. Anytime the a/c is engaged, the clutch pulls is and stalls and slips making an awful squelong noise. I'm thinking its the voltage to the electromagnet or to big of an air gap in the clutch (spacing?). Any help is appreciated.

  • How to remove a tree that can't be cut down?

Any way the tree could fall, it would land on a building. 3 sides of the tree are surrounded by the patio roof.

My idea was to have a cable zip line from one tree across the yard, DOWN to another tree (passing closely by the tree I'm wantig to remove. Then anchor a cable to a small section of the tree and attach it to the zip line. When the piece of the tree is cut (probably use something like a BIG JLG boom lift or bucket truck) it would slide down the zip line to the yard.

Any logical ideas? I want the tree removed because it has a couple of dead limbs on it. And rather than having someone come out from time to time to remove them, I'd rather eliminate the problem completely.
