Can the Saints win play-off games with Reggie Bush as their starting back?

I read that Pierre Thomas is now also on IR. I still think they can beat the SeaChickens but I have to admit that being down to Bush, Julius Jones, and DeShawn Wynn has me a little concerned about their chances of going very far in the play-offs.

Bush is actually getting better with holding the ball and going into contact. He is not scared to get hit like last year. Since im repping them Saints, of course im going to say "yeah the can make it", but i truly think they can make it with Reggie. Reggie has been consistent in the last 5 or 6 games.

People really who don't know anything about game planning and football will never ever know what game planning defensive coaches have to do when reggie bush is on the field. Reggie may never be a hall of famer but defenses will treat him like that until he retires. He alone can shift the way a game is by changing the defense. You have to put more people in the box etc. Hes that dangerous.

So nobody is afraid of pierre thomas. He should cut reggie bush part of his pay check. The saints do a lot better when reggie is on the field. Too bad hes so small, he can't run away from linebackers in the nfl like he could in college. Don't put pierre thomas and reggie bush in the same sentence. People fear reggie bush to touch the ball. Brees play action fake wouldn't work without reggie bush in backfield somewhere!

I think that they can. Drew Brees is the only quarterback playing in this years playoffs that won a game not to mention the Super Bowl in the playoffs last season. That experience along with the fact that he is an excellent passer it shouldn't be a problem at all. And for what it's worth Reggie Bush is still an elusive and explosive, but not every down, back.

reggie bush is at best a wing/slot guy who can carry around the corners from the back field, make catches and give some o.k. blocks...

they need a ACTUAL running game w/ some power involved

Yes, they won sixteen video games final year with out the refs, including the tremendous Bowl. This includes the NFC championship, wherein they forced 6 (SIX) turnovers. If Minnesota desired to win that sport, they will have to have learned to hold onto the ball. You just don't should win while you commit 6 turnovers. Sorry.

Yeah, I think so. I'm more worried about the Saints' lack of tight ends.
