How to wash a t-shirt with ironed image on without deforming the image?

I have images to iron on blank t-shirts, but I have a previous experience and after one single wash by hand and with cold water the image has been deformed and the colors was mixed!

You either used the wrong printer ink or failed to iron them on properly (using wax paper). If they are not crafted and applied right, they will always streak and run. You can try dry cleaning it, but I'd feel very foolish taking an iron-on tee to a cleaners.

Wash it separately from any other clothing in cold water on the delicate cycle in mild detergent like Woolite. Then lay it flat to dry. I've washed shirts with iron on images in this way and had no problem. Heat (either hot water or dryer heat) are usually what causes the image to degrade.

Iron them from the inside. Just turn the inside out then press. That's what I do with my shirts and so far, the prints are still intact
