Do any of you experience this with your abdominal muscles?

I often do a bunch of pullups for exercise. I let my legs hang in a manner where my abs are actually being engaged during the activity. Often, I still feel as though my abs are still working hours later, sometimes when I'm laying in bed when I'm ready to go to sleep. Is this odd?

Update:

Interesting theory. I don't have a lot of choice as I jump almost a couple of feet just to get to the bar. But if it's mild and doesn't get worse, I won't worry. I'd mark your answer as best, but I don't know how. :-)

That sounds like a mild injury. I would suggest you ditch the method you are currently using, do your pull ups in the normal manner using only your arms/back, and train your abdominal muscles separately.
