What are some stores to buy prom dresses in LA?

I live in Los Angeles. In downtown L.A., we have these "districts" filled with specific merchandise like fashion, jewelry, flowers, etc.

Once you get to this neighborhood, you can walk from store to store and shop inside these stores until you find your perfect dress. It should be fun. And I think $300 is very do-able. My daughter's prom dress in 2008 was $300 with all the alterations, but we just bought it from a wedding dress store in our town, we didn't go to the fashion district.

Go to Unique Vintage in Burbank, you can see what they have on line as well. Prices are reasonable for every budget. I purchased a few dresses as low as $75
