Tubes tied after c-section?

So my man and I are TTC #2. I knwo that I want my tubes tied after this one. I had a c-section the first time and my dr said if I got pregnant again they would schdule a c-section right way since I tried vaginal and was having issues, plus I have a blood issue so no vbac for me.

Anyway, I want to have my tubes tied after number 2. Does that add time to the healing process of a c-section?

No. They do it right after delivery while you're still open. I personally have not had this done but I have many friends who did this and had no extended healing from it. Not sure how old you are but some doctors will not do a tubal litigation on a younger person, I know from experience. My doc delivers at a Catholic hospital so they won't even do this for me but she told me that there are some doctors out there who will not do this for me since I'm only 23. I guess for fear that I will change my mind wanting another baby.
