Has anyone purchased the soboakwa (as seen on TV) pillow via the website? I ordered mine in late Dec, I got the email confirmation, however they have yet to charge my card and the stauts is always "in process" I cannot find a phone number and the email address I do have is unmonitored... They say 2-6 weeks to process (its been over 4)... Anyone have this issue before?

  • Camping - Cleaning couch and mattress in camper?

We just got a small used pop up. It is in great shape but due to some neglect from the other owner mice moved in for a bit. I vacuumed up all I could, but what is the best way to truly clean and disinfect the cushions and mattresses? They are in fine shape, other then they had some droppings on them. I just don't feel that just vacuuming is enough. I did also douse with lysol, but still... Any help would be great. Thanks!

  • Is my period late or what?

I am 30 year old and have always been pretty regular 28-30 days… We are trying for another baby, so I am not worried about being pregnant, (we are not tracking ovulation or anything, just going with nature..) I am just not sure if I am really “late” now since my July and August periods were weird. From June to July I only had a 20 day cycle, then from July to August was only 25…. Now here I sit on day 30, no period. So, am I late? Is my cycle getting back to the normal 28-30 days? Not sure when I should consider myself late… I am thinking if I have no period by Sunday I will test, however with my first baby I was a week late before I got a positive. The waiting just kills me. So, should I consider myself late now or what?

    Thanks

  • Car battery or alternator?

My Ford Excape would not start this am. Would not turn over or anything - auto locks would not work when I got out of it and tried to lock it. Does that sound like just the battery needs replacing or could it be an issue with the alternator? I don't think I have ever changed the battery in it and I have had it since 06...

    Thanks for your help!

  • Brides - what is your card box like?

    Hello ladies -

Just wondering, I know the ecomony is tough and every one is saving money, but... What would you spend on a custom made card box that is made to look like a wedding cake and made personal with your color choices to match your wedding colors? 50.00? 100.00? (Quality made, not some peice of crap)

    Thanks

Just an idea I am kicking around, tired of working for someone else.

  • Leg pain, calf and back of thigh?

I do have this posted in the health section also, but tend to get better answers from mommies.... Thanks!

For the past few days one of my legs has been hurting. It is not a bad pain, just something I feel in my left leg while sitting. laying ect..

I am not one to run to the doctor for everything, so please give my your opinions... I am only worried because I am 30 years old and my mom has had blood clots. I have looked at the back of my leg and there is no red mark, it is not swollen. Just tender in some areas. It is not muscle pain. Anyone have something like this? Is it worth seeing a doctor?

    thanks for your help

  • What is this on my ear?

Sorry, I know this is not the right place but no on in the health category answered and I like this section best anyway - Plus alot of you mommies have seen everything.... so...

Just yesterday I noticed I have a pea sizes bump on the top of my ear, the area closest to my head, like where head and ear meet. It has never been there before. It kinda hurts (only when I touch it, not like all the time) is kinda hot and feels like a pimple.... What the heck is this thing? What caused it? Should I go to the doctor? I'm 30 years old and can't remember ever having something like this.

    Thanks for any help.

  • Covering a tattoo with a tattoo?

    Hi everyone -

So, when I turned 18 like most other people I got a tattoo on my back. (BTW - I'm 30 now...) Picked from a book, nothing special. I have had more since, they actaully mean sometime... Now, I want to cover my fish. My fish is about 3" long and 1" high, but he is solid black and blue. Will it cover well? Will a tattoo over it have to be dark to make the cover job work? Any ideas on what I should cover it with?

  • Diaper exploded? Anyone have this happen before?

My son wears the pampers overnight diapers and so far all has been good. This morning though, it was like the diaper broke/exploded on him. All the absorbing crystals (for lack of a better word? they were really more like wet gel this morning) were all over his tummy this morning. (I had to put him in the bath tub and wash him this morning, they didn't wipe off, more like smear and I wanted to get it all.)

He was in a sleeper so they did not go anywhere and I know he could not have touched or eaten any, but how safe is that on his skin? The diaper was still on this morning, it was just like the insides leaked out and up all over his tummy, sides and back. It kinda concerns me since I am not sure it can hurt him. We have been using these diapers a while and this is a first. Has it happened to anyone else? It is toxic? Should I contact the company? Thanks for your time!

  • Tubes tied after c-section?

So my man and I are TTC #2. I knwo that I want my tubes tied after this one. I had a c-section the first time and my dr said if I got pregnant again they would schdule a c-section right way since I tried vaginal and was having issues, plus I have a blood issue so no vbac for me.

Anyway, I want to have my tubes tied after number 2. Does that add time to the healing process of a c-section?

  • At what age to cats stop going into heat?

Does it ever stop? I would assume like a person there comes a time they can no longer reproduce....

Also, how late is too late to fix a cat?

(Got a loveable stray, got to be older, at least 5-6 and I thought after a certain age it is dangerous to fix them... plus I am not sure of her real age.)

    thanks for any help.

  • Pictures with Santa? Cost?

    Hi everyone.

Just wondering, what does the basic picture package for pictures with Santa cost? I can't find prices on our malls website and am just wondering what a ballpark price may be.

    Thanks!

  • 07 Ford Escape - gas pedal issue?

So every morning, only when cold outside and not all the time my cars gas pedal will "stick" as in I cannot push it down to go. If my care has not warmed all the way up yet, and I stop at a stop sign, when I go to hit the gas the pedals doesn't move, like stepping on a brick...

Anyone know what causes this or is it some kind of recall I missed the notice on? I bought the car brand new years ago and have been the only owner...

    Any help?

    thanks for reading and answering.

  • Mommies, after you shower...?

Do you close the shower curtain so it can dry open (and not get moldy and icky) or do you leave it open so the tub will dry? (open as in all bunched in one corner of the tub, not dry) I leave the shower curtain open, assuming the tub can try like that. My MIL leave the curtain open (i.e. bunched in one corner of the tub) after she showers. It makes me crazy. What does everyone else do? Just wondering.... I know this is not the right section, figured I would get decent answers here... Thanks!
