It seems you really like this guy and care about him. Is there a reason his previous gf didn't do anything, does it make him embarrassed bc of the extra attention. I thing what you have is great dont over do it leave some for next year and dont build up his expectations too much.

sounds to me like you're getting taken advantage of sweetie. how do you know that his "previous girlfriends never bought him anything nice"???? if HE told you that, its because he's trying to get you to spend a lot of money on him!! don't fall for his trick. just take him to dinner OR buy him the shirt. there's no need to do more than that, because when/if you break up, you will regret being so generous with him. slick guys always try to get girls to do things by saying what previous girlfriends did or didn't do. be very careful with this boy honey. does he spend a lot of money on you (or is just as generous)??? think twice.
