Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan
Kirk and Khan talk ship-to-ship a few times during the movie, but never meet in person. (But they did meet in the Original Series episode that this movie was effectively a second part for.)

Furlong and McCandless never actually meet because McCandless is technically dead. They only talk inside a virtual reality chamber because McCandless's brain is hooked up to a switchboard.
