Is Stress a Common 'Trigger' For Seizural Problems With Epilepsy?
Because I have 'clonic-tonic' seizures, I'm just curious as to whether a 'high' stress load is known to cause this type of 'spaz attack'.
(No, I'm not politically correct' in regard to my Health, but I respect those who are serious about their Health; that's why I'm asking.)

I have been epileptic since I was 3 in '72. I had always had a lot of small seizures every year until '95. Due to stress, I had a lot of seizures from '95 to '99 when working at Ryan's Steakhouse. Never had I worked a salad bar. I had just learned how to make salads at Hardees. I had seven grandmals yearly. I even had two grands back to back. I had to take 18 pills daily to maintain my job. I had a lot of simple partial seizures; it may have been 100 a year. I had to quit working in '07 because in one day, I had 40 seizures. They were very small. Last year, alone, I had 146 small seizurses.

there can be lots of triggers for this happening .. my daughter has epilepsy and been over tired... stress... sudden loud noises, flashing lights, certain smells, and additives in some foods and drinks ..and artificial colours in drinks too..and she can just take a seizure for no reason as well .. been dealing with theses for the last 18 years now.
good luck lv.

Yes; people who are stressed or whose routine changes suddenly are at greater risk of seizure activity than those who are not experiencing those stressors.
