Evidence in the Bible matches real-life statistics?
The Bible says:
"In the whole land, declares the LORD,
two-thirds will be struck down and perish;
yet one-third will be left in it.
This third I will put into the fire;
I will refine them like silver
and test them like gold.
They will call on my name
and I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are my people,’
and they will say, ‘The LORD is our God.’ "
... and today 1/3 of the world is Christian. Isn't that amazing???

some are thoughts, and a few are actual. the main suitable element to do is get books on the undertaking by skill of respected, peer-reviewed scholars. examine up on the Documentary hypothesis, Redaction criticism, Rhetorical criticism, etc. scholars have an exceedingly sound know-how of the Bible. the fashionable college of Biblical criticism is committed to grasp-how the textual content cloth because it became understood by skill of the unique hearers. i like to apply the occasion of Animal Farm by skill of George Orwell. Centuries from now, some persons will brush off it as nonsense because of the fact it has talking animals. Others will have self belief that the farm rather existed, and that the animals rather talked. yet scholars will understand that it rather is a complicated and state-of-the-paintings analogy for the Russian revolution. The Bible is the comparable way. lots of the 1st 5 books, as an occasion, have been written as a critique of the Jewish schism interior the 9th century BC, and weren't in any respect meant to be background.

Yes! In the beginning 1/3 turned against God. In the end, only 1/3 of the world is Christian. For every positive there is a negative. Even of the third of Christians in this final generation, many will worship the antichrist thinking He's Jesus returned to rapture them away! The rapture is not biblical. That is the great falling away. The tribulation is the ultimate test of the Christian faith. They will commit instant apostacy to worship Satan (antichrist) instead of Jesus...just as they did in the beginning.

Isn't it amazing how badly the gospel of matthew takes the old testament prophecies wayyyy out of context?
Matthew 1:23 Takes Isaiah 7:14 out of context.
Matthew 2:6 Takes Micah 5:2 out of context.
Matthew 2:15 Takes Hosea 11:1 out of context.
Matthew 2:23 Is not support by scripture at all.
If you knew anything about scripture you would recognize this.
Not that this has anything to do with what you're talking about. I was just showing you since you seem to love 'prophecies'... And to show how badly christians take these 'prophecies' out of context. Including your own gospel writers.

And the other two thirds have yet to be struck down or parish. And it's actually a little bit less than a third.

No. The fact that one third of all human beings believe in that crap is actually quite disturbing. Furthermore, never met a "Christian" that is actually a Christian. Same goes for any other religion. None of you adhere to or play by the rules of your stated believe system.

There are plenty of things in the Bibel that are relevant to our day. Here is an example.
(2 Timothy 3:1-5) But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.

Evidence of that kind in the Bible does not match real-life statistics.

So by your rationale the ones who aren't Christian will perish. Lovely.

Err... quite a few sub groups of those Christians don't think most of the other sub-groups are Christians.
It matters an awful lot what you are counting.
