feeling overwhelmed- i am! is anyone else?

I have two boys 3 and half and 2. I feel super overwhelmed all the time. I have a list of 100 things to do on any given day. I have so many doctors appts to make for myself & my sons. They go to a nursery school twice a week so i can get a little break and since the break is only two hours I feel that is overwhelming to get them there and pick them up and try to get 100 things done while i am "free."

Anyway---- i think its normal that having so much to do and worry about but when i look at other moms (who also have two kids- because having one and having TWO is a world apart) and I am just in awe because everyone else seems to be moving so slow and seems not to look as stressed. I have always been a high energy person and I pride myself on being able to multitask but... I feel like i am missing some trick because all i do is run all day and night.

All moms feel overwhelmed some days. I have four kids and a tendency to want to micro manage every little thing.....when I start feeling myself getting stressed I just take a step back and remind myself that there is always tomorrow.

What I do is break things down. I only schedule doctors appointments on certain days of the week that are less busy for us. If they aren't for a sick kid especially. Dentists, eye exams and well child checks are all done at once for all four of them.

When I have to run errands I run them all on one day. I don't want to be running all over town for this and that every single day.

I do 3 loads of laundry a day (breakfast, lunch and bedtime), wash dishes immediately after each meal and clean one room top to bottom everyday.

U R not alone! Being a mom is overwhelming at times, if not all the time. One eve at the dinner table I noticed my husband calmly reading a book as he was eating, while I got up from the table over 12 times to fetch something, take one to the potty, or let a cat out the door, or turn something off at the stove, fetch a clean spoon for the baby, etc. It never occurred to me to interrupt his reading to help out. But if I had to do it over that is something I would change. Ask for help when U can. Eliminate those trips U really do not have to make. Double up on errands, so U R not leaving home as often. Plan ahead on supplies so U R not caught short and have to make extra trips that way. Good luck.
