Can someone tell me what the valve clearance settings are for a 10 hp OHV briggs and stratton engine on a generator?

Check out small-engines.com. If you can't find yours and are really stuck, try about .004 for the intake and about .006 for the exhaust.
Or you could try a trick from my youth: Close up the gap until they start puffing, open the gap till they rattle. The setting is somewhere in between.

Almost zero, if the push rod spins in your finger tips and the rocker moves freely with no lash or resistance, thats about perfect, or you could go by the book at around .0004, which is basicaly almost zero,

you will need the model # and ser # +hp
you can locate the factory specks on it,
off hand i would say 11 thousands for the exhaust and 12 thousands for the intake,
