Anyone ever put potato peels down the garbage disposer?!?
I did & have to share the great solution I got after calling the company....I couldn't believe it, but tried this and it worked like a charm. I knew not to put the peels down there, but stupidly did it anyway. Chicken bones! I got a roasted chicken at the store, we had it for dinner, then stuffed the bones down and ran the disposer. Clear in minutes. I just had to share this with everyone.

The problem people have with garbage disposals clogging is they fill it full then turn it on. If you'll start your water running first, turn the disposal on, then put whatever in, the chance of clogging is extremely rare. I always suggest letting the water run a bit after turning it off. Good Luck to you.

You would think it would be the other way around. But chicken bones are actually good for the disposer - they sharpen the blades and clear out build-up. Just don't over do it, especially if you have a septic system. It may not be so happy.
