Teacher! Sensei! Master! (you know ;-) I have a question for those who can discern the spirit of spirituality.?

Yes. It is almost a miracle!

All it takes is a bit of focused mind to feel its energy.

All along, we humans of the so called 'modern' innovative minds, have been striving to improvise on the outside, sophisticate, and re-quip ourselves.

The ancients did just that, but entirely on the inside. And please see, they paced their rate of sophistication at an incredible speed. The documented eastern culture provides some evidence. The rituals, traditions and practices, are highly indicative of their perceptions beyond sensory level. We depend on gadgets to do almost the same things, but growing at snails pace. Communications, health, unconventional energy sources (this is the most significant one!) and all other broad classifications we can name today. What we call as blue-tooth was encased right withing their being. The spirit and its nature, its power was better understood by them, and they harnessed it directly (not through mutilation+manipulation of gross raw materials that we do today(and we end up littering the planet and space around with everlasting junk!).

I was wondering if somebody would notice it and mention it too! And here seems to be the very same question! "Impersonal collective energy!" ....... I suppose this phrase comes closest to describing it well with available words (at least for the present)! That "collective mind" is still 'stained' with some attributes of 'mind' and personality! Like that mob psychology (college students, viewing a movie at a theatre in a group shout and whistle for no reason, while individually they sit quiet and finish the movie!).

Feels like some unseen hands has cleverly devised/designed it just for us here! "nicknames" hiding the profile, names, and personality, provides the essential ingredients to pool in "just" the energies!

The spirit of spirituality, once created cannot be destroyed. Yes. It gets merged, to re-emerge when needed! That is what needs to happen. And it is amazing, "the way" it is happening! No amount of mechanisation (in the name of modernisation), could arrest it, could confine it. The spirit dominating the matrix!

Seems to me they are being moved. Effected by those things that cannot be clearly undetstood at this point. These things have the power to move as well as motivate and unite people. Some say that these things are the author of god and religion. The spirit in spirituality is to me the governing factors of all affairs. It may cause some to feel like they must not take any chances to others it causes them to feel as if there is no chance to take. But true a spirit does have life if it's allowed to live. It Also can be invoked if it once lived in the minds of men. They are born when a solution is imagined in the heart of those who believe.

It is not all that mysterious.

The adaptability of the human mental capacity has become self-fulfilling and is evolving faster that the body.

When two people acknowledge each others individuality and find agreement on, at least the legitimacy of differing viewpoints, the experience becomes spiritual to the extent two, or more people can agree to enter the realm of non-territorial ism. Once viewpoints are being considered, rather than defended against, the realm of spirit is opened.

There are numerous companies that teach techniques on how to do this.

I don't recall anyone else reporting this? If not, it might be a strong phenomenon that's local to you. It would impact different people differently, wouldn't it, if there's something "out there" that's manifesting as "in here" to you? In other words, I guess I discern very little, except the sagging knowledge that peak oil has passed and our material standards of life will be in decline from that, plus global warming, for a long time to come.

It is that which cannot be seen with our eyes, tasted with our tongue, smelt with our nose, touches with our skin, heard with our eyes. It is beyond our senses. It is that infinitesimal part of the Divine whole with occupies our body. That is our true identity and that is what we are, the spirit soul. We are not this body, mind, intelligence or ego.

We have to realise that and remind others of the same. For this we are given this human body, so we can use our mind intelligence and ego to surrender the same to the divine whole so that at the end of our time here on earth, go back to where we came from never to return to this endless cycle of birth death old age disease fault misfortune unhappiness

I know of only one spirit. The spirit that which is not matter. Matter has form spirit is formless. Spirit can take any form it Wills, matter cannot. Matter either exists in form or grow into form. All changes and variations are metamorphic forms of form and the formless. Spirituality is the path of the Spirit. Spirit has a no needs, but has a purpose and direction. Spirits that deviates from direction manifests eternally within matter. Spirit of Spirituality is the right course without making tangents or ankles to the circle of cosmic life and cosmic dissolution. Between these two terminals are the life on earth and other planets and the life within the void. We search life within remote planets, forgetting that every void has life. Death is a part of life. Carbon monoxide is part of Air which contains life in the form of oxygen. Oxygen for human is life Carbondioxide for plants are life, Oxygen for plants are death, carbon dioxide for human beings are death. What is death for Human beings is cause to plant life and what is death for plants is cause to human life. Is it not true and false one and the same thing. Is it not good and the evil one and the same thing. They are the metamorphic forms of spirit. Spirit impure is poison and spirit pure is medicine. Poison purified is medicine, and Medicine impure is poison. Spirit pure sustains the soul, spirit impure damages soul like the spirit in alcohol having affenity with the spirit or alkaloids in the brain and other parts of the head where intoxication has affinity and takes immediate effect. Both are spirits, pure and impure. Purest spirit is God and beyond, impurest spirit is Evil and beyond. Evil can be redeemed to become Godly and Godly can degenerate to Evil. Purity of the Spirit in oneself is the fundamental method to harness the cosmic spirit or cosmic energy. They show their strong attraction and magnetic pull and gravitation pull only when the spirit within is pure enough for the attraction just as an impure liquid like Oil is not attracted by the moon and create any high tides while water in purer forms with the life giving salt included, is subject to gravitation pull of the moon. Thought is the energy for cause to deviation from the path. The only time when the cosmic energy can connect with the spirit in us is when the thoughts are dropped or thoughts are sleeping, and therefore the meditation and deep sleep are conducive to conserving the cosmic energy or the cosmic spirit. It is happening every day.

I think you've made a play on words. Spirit can have several connotations, you brought out a couple in your question. For example you stated that there is a "spirit of contention" on these boards. So a spirit can be a predominate mental attitude. This spirit or attitude that you allude to is a mental bent that dominates the mental inclination of mankind alienated from God and under the influence of the invisible wicked spirit ruler of the world, Satan the Devil. Just as the scripture tells us:

(Ephesians 2:2) . . .according to the ruler of the authority of the air, the spirit that now operates in the sons of disobedience.

Jesus said this concerning all those who are conscious of their spiritual need:

(Matthew 5:3) . . .Happy are those conscious of their spiritual need, since the kingdom of the heavens belongs to them.

Man is thus innatly born with a need for the spiritual. Nevertheless not everyone is aware of it. When one awakens to this need and begins to ask the hard questions, Why am I here? If there is a God why does he permit suffering, etc, they show they have become aware of the need for spirituality.

When you are conscious to that need then you can look for answers. In order to have a proper spirit inside to take in the truth you must be humble, and without that spirit inside you, your mental inclination you cannot find truth, just as Jesus said:

(John 4:24) . . .God is a Spirit, and those worshiping him must worship with spirit and truth.”

Here we see the word spirit two times, and in each case it means something different. In the first case we are told that God is a spirit, that is, a life form that is higher, and above the physical plane, invisible to the physical realm. Those who wish to worship the true God who is a spirit must worship him with spirit, that is their mental comprehension, who they are on the inside, and with truth, that is from every utterance that comes from from the good Spirit's mouth.

The words of truth that the great Spirit who created us with a need of spirituality which which we need to learn to be conscious of with our spirit can be found in the word of God, the Bible, as it tells us:

(2 Peter 1:20-21) . . .For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. 21 For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit.

Here we see another use of the word spirit. This time referring to God's active force. Jehovah the Great Spirit, has an unlimited supply of power, the existence of our vast universe is a testament to this. When Jehovah's good will uses that spirit to accomplish his purposes then it becomes active. Since all of his ways are clean, sacred, holy, it becomes holy spirit.

You may receive holy spirit by asking Jehovah God for it directly in prayer:

(Luke 11:13) . . .Therefore, if YOU, although being wicked, know how to give good gifts to YOUR children, how much more so will the Father in heaven give holy spirit to those asking him!”

You are on an awesome quest if you decide to humble yourself to be molded by the great potter.

May your eye of understanding and your ears of spiritual perception see what is the spirit is telling you, just as the scripture tells you:

(Revelation 2:7) . . .Let the one who has an ear hear what the spirit says. . .

If you cannot see or comprehend the above, ask for understanding. But remember that the physical man cannot perceive or comprehend the things that are only perceived by the spirit that proceeds from the spiritual man, for to the physical man they are foolishness. Yet the spiritual man is able to discern even all things:

((1 Corinthians 2:14-15) . . .But a physical man does not receive the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot get to know [them], because they are examined spiritually. 15 However, the spiritual man examines indeed all things, but he himself is not examined by any man.

"Either way, what needs to happen?"
