my heart is fluttering and feeling unusual do I worry?

I have been experiencing fluttering in my heat for a few months now and when in hospital last Oct. for depression I experienced a bad pain in my chest and the nurses told me it was "probably gas" So I let it go, in the past month the fluttering is a stronger feeling, I have had a dull headache for about a week now that starts in my upper back just below my neck that leaves a weird ache in my back on and off. Could this be a beginning sign of stroke or heat attack. Oh I was dizzy alot yesterday after bending over when cleaning and lifting myself up. Thank you.

Update:

I misspelled heart sorry. Typing too fast without checking.

Everyone is going to tell you to see your GP, and they are right — you should do that if ever you have symptoms that concern you. (I'm terrible at going to the doctor myself, but hey, I can still give good advice, right?)

But one thing few people are going to tell you about is the link between your emotional health and your physical health. You mention depression. I have struggled with depression too. It affects you in so many ways, and there is much evidence that it can lead to physical illnesses as well. So with this in mind, remember how important a positive outlook on life is. If you can work through the depression and come out the other side, your physical health might just come good too.

But in the meantime, see your doctor! :)

i had the same thing, and the depression too.

go the doctors and ask then to put you on iron tablets, it's like a blood strengthener and the breathing, ask them to test you out for asthma.

palpitation when lying or supine position can be as a result of premature beats especially with slow heart rate, so you need to go for a cardiology evaluation.
