Intel MOBO DG33TL no video, bad video card.?

The video on my Custom build went out, when i opened the case i found that my EVGA 8600 video card had some busted caps. I switched to the on board graphics and installed the latest drivers. However whenever I turn on my computer, there is no video. After I do a hard reset, I can get video. and it works fine until turned off.

What could be causing this? Bad drivers? Could my old video card have damaged my MOBO somehow?

Did you go into the BIOS and select the on-board GPU as primary video adapter. That may solve your problem. The BIOS may think the PCI-E slot is still primary video.

    Good luck
