Hamster breeding? HELP?

I know I already asked this question, but I need a legit answer, not "we don't support breeding". I need to know if it's HEALTHY. We don't know where we can "adopt" hamsters, so it resulted to this--->

Would it be possible/healthy to breed a 1 1/4 year-old male hamster to a younger female?

My Veterinary Science class wants to breed our male because he is the SWEETEST hamster in the WORLD, and a few members of the class would like to breed him to bring a 'piece of him' (hahah jokes) to college with us. So we were wondering if it would be healthy for us to breed him to a younger female, or possible at all (would he accept the female, would the female accept him)?

Thanks a bunch <3

Hamsters breed like rabbits. :P Put the male with a female and it's pretty likely that you'll have hamster babies in a few short weeks. Just be sure to take the male out of the cage before the babies come. Also, take extra good care of the mom and keep her well-nourished--they do eat their babies if they think they need more nourishment to sustain the litter.
