i have recently acquired a laptop that is webcam enabled. i live in africa and i'd like to communicate with my sibling who lives in the USA. how do i go about it? pleae give me the complete steps to follow and precise answer.

There are multiple ways, such as Skype, tinychat.com,etc.
For skype, just download the software and see if your sister has it and if she doesn't, tell her to download it and register. If you both are on skype you can video call people,chat or just voice call

I would recommend using Skype to video chat with your sibling, or there is Yahoo Messenger which also has video chat capablities. Not sure which program your brother or sister has to video chat with though.
