Are these nicknames or full names? BQS?

I love the name Alice and Heidi, but they are quite short, especially compared to my other names, so what do you think.

Florence

Victoria

Evangeline

and Heidi/Alice

What could Heidi be short for, and what could Alice be short for?

Is Adelaide better as a first name or middle name? (Florence, VIctoria, Evangeline and Adelaide)

Update:

Is Alice too much of a stretch, as a nickname for Alexandra?

I like Adelaide better as a middle name, so what first name would you pair with it?

(The name has to flow with FLorence, Victoria and Evangeline, who would be called Flora, Tori and Annie)

Alice is a full name, but if you wanted to make it longer I've always liked Mary Alice as a first name.

    Heidi is short for Adelheid.

I think Adelaide could be a first or middle. It depends on what you're pairing it with :) You have lovely name choices.

Alice is a name on it's own (it's my fave girl name. I plan to use it someday)

Heidi is usually short for Adelheid (a form of Adelaide)

I think Adelaide could work fine as a first name. She could be Addie for short. Or if you use Adelheid, she could be Addie or Heidi. Adelheid Evangeline would be nice.

I personally love Alice Victoria (I think shorter first names are fine when they're paired with longer middles), with the nn Allie, though.

Alice could possibly be short for Alicia... I'm not sure about Adelaide as a first name. For a first name you probably want a name with a nice nickname as well. I think Alica/Alicia Victoria is a nice name! Hope this helps.

Alice is a beautiful first name. so is Alison

you could name her Alice May or Bridget Alice

but yes Alice is definately a first name and it doesnt even need a nick name. if you really want a nickname though, Ali is really cute ( pronounced Ally)

    Alice is a full name.

Heidi is actually short for Adelheid, which is a German name.
