what will happen if i put blonde dye in my brown hair without bleaching?
i don't intend to go blonde, but i want to put a bit of a "sheen" in my hair, y'know?
it's naturally mid-brown, with golden highlights.
at the moment it's semi-perm. dyed a richer brown, not darker, but more chocolate-y.
i don't want to bleach my hair, i just want something sunnier

chances are that the semi permanant that you used is a quasi in which case the blonde may not lift the colour because tint will not lift tint prob. best option is to have a few lighter high lights

i have dark brown hair, i dyed it with blonde dye because i wanted a shade lighter so it looked more natural, but trust me it was the worst idea ever, my roots are now ginger/blonde, and it wont go away, i have dyed it twice since back brown and they come strait back through, dont do it!! get professional to help out xx

i wouldn't risk it if i were you. if will probably go orange due to the pigment in your hair. if you do want sheen to your hair, why not dye it a nice chocolaty colour. it doesn't have to be too dark.
