Since choices concerning morality cannot come from your brain...?

where do they come from?

They can't come from your brain because moral choices are a spiritual matter. The brain is just a massive biological neural network, its physical processes can't possibly determine spiritual decisions.

"The brain is just a massive biological neural network, its physical processes can't possibly determine spiritual decisions."

No, that's not correct. In fact, it's the *opposite* of correct.

"Spirituality" is nothing more than our own personal subjective human experiences as sentient beings. Sentience is an emergent property that is directly created by the complex interaction of matter and energy in the animate system of the brain. The fact that we are free-willed sentient beings with the capacity for "spiritual" attributes in no way changes the fact that our existence is contingent upon the existence of the material system and physical processes of the brain.

The brain does the thinking. All choices come from the brain.

Spirituality, religion, morality are all man-made concepts.

Why do some people (particularly religious ones) have trouble with the concept that everything we are is controlled by neural impulses? Or is this why people accept religion - because they can't understand this simple concept?

Morality & choices don't come from our brain? LOL

    ok....

    really?

Well lets see you try and support that nonsensical assumption......

Not to mention PLENTY of non-spiritual or religious folks have plenty of morals too....

    But whatever...

    Your premise is unsupportable.

There is no evidence of anything "spiritual." "Morals" are demonstrably a social issue. All the evidence we do have shows that such decisions are made in your brain.

    Peace.

Lions (and other predators) only kill when hungry, I guess it's a form of morality.
