A question about semi-permanent hair dye...?

Okay so I want to dye all of my hair emerald green, so if anyone knows the best green dye to use to do so, that would be awesome, but anyway....

I want to dye everything green except a streak in the front of my hair which would remain white-blond. My question is, after washing it several times, would the green leak into the white and leave it an ugly color, or would it stay white and be fine?

I always used pravana's vivid line for bright colors. they show up bright and last forever. the only problem is that that is a professional line. manic panic is really popular, but from my experience it's half gone from my hair after only one washing so it's not worth it.

yes, there is a chance of the green leaking into the white. it could end up white with a tint of green. it's a chance you'll have to take if you want white and green.

    best of luck!

They green will not leak into the white strands, but it will fade fast. Out of the natural looking colors (blonde, brown, black, and red) read fades the quickest, but I would believe green would fade just a quick. I would go to a salon to get it colored. They are trained on getting the right tints and you wont have any mishaps. If you use an at home kit, it may come out dark in one area and lighter in another and look horrible.

Look at manic panic products. They are the best. Put conditioner on the part you're leaving white. This will prevent the white from picking up green. If some does get on while washing out, it will fade, don't worry.

No matter what you do, the green is going to fade into a a weird mix between blue and green. It won't mix in with your one high light of blonde, because your dye has already been set in your hair and won't leak.
