Does it actually make a difference if a man uses MALE or FEMALE hairdye?

First, I have naturally black hair. I'm 37 years old and am now starting to show my gray hair. Well, actually for a few years now but... whatever. I have always been using those do-it-yourself hairdye boxes you can get from Rite Aid and Walgreens. The thing is, I've always been getting the ones from the women's aisle. I never even paid attention to there being "men's" hair dye. Is there a real difference? Does it matter? The last time I died my hair was about 3 weeks ago and some of the gray is still coming through. Any advice?

doesn't matter much.. its just a nice way to make money to sell almost the same stuff separately.

Instead of 1 bottle of shampoo you now have 1 for him and 1 for her etc

Of course womens dye is the same as mens dye.

You can choose between permanent, semi-permanent or washout.

mens and womens hair is the same right?

women's is DYE, which has to grow out

Men's is hair COLOR which washes out...

thats why womens is more expensive
