Is Luke Skywalker the King of Naboo?

He is Queen Amidala's first-born, and she is dead, so isn't Luke the rightful heir? Also, if Leia was in hiding all her life, why did they still call her Princess? Or was she posing as princess of Alderaan? And if so, wouldn't she be addressed as Queen Leia after Alderaan was destroyed? Can you be queen of a planet that no longer exists? How many Alderaanians survived by being off-planet? Are there any colonies she could rule?

Update:

@John Crisp I can't imagine that she was an elected queen. Society's that do that are usually primitive warrior tribes that choose their fiercest battle leader. People that end up with child monarchs do so because they have a rigid succession code based on heredity. Who would elect a child to rule a planet?
