red marks under armpits ?
Im nerly a 13 year old girl, and i started shaving underarm hair about a year ago. since then, i have been getting red rashes under my armpits every now and then. They look like tiny pimples, and one i popped today had a bit of puss comming out of it. What can i do to stop it ? i have swapped shaving creams, but i wont shave for about 2 weeks and one day theyre not there and the next they are. Sometimes its only a couple, sometimes its really noticeable if i wear singlets and lift my arms up. i went to the chemist, and they gave me a cream to put on twice every day for two weeks. Help please !

Most likely those rashes are razor burn. Treat razor burn with aloe vera gel. The aloe vera allows for protection from the environment and has analgesic qualities that reduce swelling, soothe the irritation, and form a barrier which protects the skin from infection and promotes healing. Cortisone cream will also help with the redness and discomfort. There is a non prescription one that you can get at the pharmacy. Also if you cannot get cortisone cream or aloe vera gel you can just use cold water and a wash cloth and pat dry. And check this site to learn how to prevent it in the future.
