Inspection sticker outdated?
My license plate says Feb 2011 but my inspection sticker says October 2010. Someone told me they go by your license plate and I can wait til Feb to get my car inspected. Is this true or am I driving around illegally. Im in Pennsylvania by the way if that helps.

You are driving illegally. When something is expired, it is expired....period. If they went by your plate expiration date, there would be no need to put an expiration date on the inspection sticker.

Inspection is not registration. Registration is the sticker on your plate. Inspection is the sticker on your windshield.
If you have THAT late an inspection sticker I can guarantee that a local cop will pull you over if he sees it. I used to live in PA and can say "been there done that".
You are running around illegally as both stickers are required. Registration isn't linked to the inspection in Pennsylvania.
