Neosporin while pregnant?
I got a rash on my face and I'm 6 weeks pregnant. For the past week, I've been putting neosporin on on my little rash. I read the warnings and there was no warnings for pregnancy. However, I googled it tonight and confused.
What are your thoughts?

use it sparingly but I must say that my Dr. never restricted me from neosporin. You may want to try something like an aloe vera gel which may help sooth the skin. All of the hormones of pregnancy can sure do a number on ones skin especially in the first trimester.

As long as you use neosporin as directed on the package and not for something that is not covered by the medication you are fine. Check out this site for further questions http://skin.emedtv.com/neosporin/neosporin-and-pre...

Its probably totally fine, but it doesnt hurt to ask your dr. I asked about hydro-cortisone when I was pregnant, because I have eczema, and my doctor said there was no problem.
