wouldn't you appreciate if someone doesn't agree with you to contact you before publicly posting something.?

When I am being criticized I appreciate a chance to clarify my side. Once someone posted that I don't know anything about eating disorders. I have managed to help several people two of which were intimate friends. What annoys me is when folks will make a comment and not give any openings for defense. I can be emailed at least if you don't agree. Seems forwardly to make a statement and be afraid of a rebuttal. I am tired of folks that make statements without having all the facts or are not open to getting all the facts.

Update:

What I am saying is that I have an open email and can be contacted without people flinging hash. Then if you still feel someone is wrong you are at least educated on the others view. I am just tired of people making statements that are too afraid to have open communication. In other words no email or chat. To rephrase it. Wouldn't it behoove folks to have some manners and discuss things before publicly attacking others? And to answer sounds religious. What does religion have to do with this question? Sounds like good manners and the intelligent thing to do. If you are ignorant of a subject you could end up looking like the fool. Blank statements with no support are hollow.

Update 2:

Note I have just been called a hypocrite by someone that says I can email them but they don't have an open email. How am I the hypocrite if they are the one not communicating while I am trying.

WHOO HOO! TELL IT BROTHER! I agree with u 100%! One thing I have come to learn about YAHOO ANSWERS and even at time the internet in general, is that people like to "hide" behind their computers. Most likely because they are young and want to pretend to be older....hmmm...I'm not sure but either way the truth of the matter still comes out.

They are obviously uneducated, unwise, without respect (including that of oneself) and have no manners or CLASS. One of my favorite sayings is: "If u cant run with the big dawgs then stay on the porch!"

When we put ourselves out there by asking a question, we (as mature, sophisticated adults) are asking for an answer from a genuine person. Someone with real truths to be told. Not from someone who is just bored and enjoys being hateful for sport. And I think that u make a very good point with the email situation. Everyone has an opinion and is most certainly entitled to that opinion, but as u said, send it in an email...learn a little more about the situation before just firing off a bunch of no-nonsense words that do absolutely nothing but prove ones ignorance.

Some people do that for security reasons primarily. Some people have actually been harassed or threatened so they're afraid of that and not necessarily of a mature rebuttal.

A good way for you to live is just to agree to disagree without needing to make someone hear you out. That would solve most of the world's problems if every single person adopted that attitude.

Put in combination a scrapbook with you and her for the period of the years. Go to the Scrapbook component to a craft retailer, and there are tons of exclusive scrapbooks available in the market, a few are very practical that you simply positioned the photos in little slots, a few are predone pages that you simply positioned the photos at the web page, after which possibly write some thing approximately the photos. You are pressed for time So I could recommend some thing rather practical. I could opt for a pocketed scrapbook- in which there are wallet to position the photos, you'll additionally purchase magazine packing containers or snapshot mounting paper - for those who wish to customize it and write a few exact messages to her. Just write it at the slip of paper and stick it within the pocket. If you inform the gals on the craft retailer what you wish to do, they may be able to supply you a few high-quality recommendations too. Edit** Also I spotted at Walgreens they have got a wide variety of present playing cards- they also have a few for US airlines and Hyatt and Best Western- you might get her present playing cards for journey- that can be slightly out of the price range even though (could be for me).

You are being hypocritical. You want to state your opinions for the world to see but you don't want anyone else to do the same. After they disagree with you, you could always email them and explain.
