I have a therapist who comes twice a week and I pay $100 for both sessions. Depends on the area you live (some cities have a higher cost of living which should be taken into consideration) I am from Florida where the unemployment rate is high and people are in desperate need of jobs, I guess that is why they charge less than in other cities.

I would probably give between $50 to $100. If the massage is handled by an expert, the price can definitely go higher. After all, it's the quality of the experience that I'm after.

Well massage therapists set their own rates, since they work for themselves, they are called independent contractors. So it's best to shop around and compare rates.

Some will probably charge more for travel, if that's the case, have your massage done at the spa.

You can also have your massage done at a massage school. They charge cheaper since they have students working on you.
