Which pass for shuttle launch at Kennedy Space Center?

I am planning a trip to Orlando at the end of the June. The Kennedy Space Center has a shuttle launch scheduled for the time that my family will be there, but Im not sure which admission pass we will need to buy.

Do we need to purchase the $80 full space pass to view the launch or can we view it with the $38.35 admission pass?

We watched the shuttle launch for free from Cocoa Beach a few miles up the coast. The view was still stunning, no traffic to fight through, and we had a lovely morning on the beach included. Take a short wave radio, so you can hear the countdown and commentary.

The KSC launch passes sell out quickly, so buy early if you're planning to get one. You would still be quite a distance away though - only VIPs get close(ish) up. I also think some of the attractions in the Centre are closed on launch day, so you don't get the full Visitor Centre experience.

You must have shuttle launch view tickets for the day of the launch to enter Kennedy Space Center on Launch day. There are 3 different tickets depending on what view you want. The prices are $20, $41, or $59

properly properly well worth the money. there's a truly in-intensity excursion of "restricted" factors which incorporates a motor vehicle assembly progression is extremely exciting, and provides an truly good photo of the sheer scale of an section shuttle. the significant targeted visitor section has some tremendous shows and a actual sized type of Apollo rockets that's impressive to work out to assert the least. they commonly have an astronaut or different NASA workers remarkable about to inform thoughts and answer questions you would have about the gap application. in case your fortunate sufficient to visit the Kennedy area midsection on a launch, that would properly be a actual take care of. yet seeing as how Atlantis merely released very last week, i don't think of there is going to be yet another one for truly a at the same time as. right that's a link to the Kennedy area midsection education web page.
