Life turns upon a wheel,
Renewed like spring flowers,
Or trudging to an end-
No matter how we feel,
Despite the counted hours,
We go from now to then.
Nor were they meant to connect- they are different manifestations.
Of belief. Different faiths believe different things. This isn't a seminar on multiculturalism, nor a collection of similar things- it is a six-line bit of poetry on diverse thought and a common end.

The poem has a certain grace, truth and talent. It isn't easy to write short, meaningful poetry and you have nailed it.

I must say the mixed metaphor does distract the reader.
Wheel- spring flowers-counted hours do not connect.
Life turns in a repetitive slow circle;
Renewed by spring flowers,
Frozen by winter snow.
Or finally circling to an end-
No matter how we feel,
Despite the number of rotations,
We go from then to now.
Edit
"they are different manifestations"
Exactly my point. Manifestations of what? Life? How can life be a wheel which is turned and also renewed and also trudges?

And it does... Nice thought all put together. On ancient headstones around here, they used to put how many years, months and days a person lived upon the earth, like counting the hours. They don't do that anymore, but it was kinda neat. And kinda sad.

The oldest star does not know time. We are at the beginning even as we await the end.
