Is 104.7 high for an adult, 50 year. What symptoms do I need to look for?

What are signs that I should see a doctor. Fist, I live in America, have no insurance, no advice nurse.

Aspirin and ibuprofen has a small effect only, About 1/2 degree. It seems flu like in every way. After three days the only new symptom is painful neck -- glands, not spine.

Update:

So what about wiping down with a wet towel?

My wife thinks I am confused all the time. I want to know what is next symptom besides fever that constitutes an emergency?

Go to the ER NOW. 104.7 is ok for a baby but for an adult it could be deadly. If you go through the ER then they will have to see you. Insurance or not, payment or not. Doesn't matter they will see you. You might have to wait half the night but at least you will be at a hospital.

Uhm, 104.5+ will make you pass out for a while, which means YOU NEED TO GO TO THE ER NOW!!!! Wait, if you have such a high fever, what the heck are you doing asking teenagers what to do?? If you're not a troll, just have someone drive you to the hospital.
