Do you agree or disagree that throughput and capacity are determining factors for effectiveness of a system more so than processor speed? Why or why not?

    Disagree. If the processor can not process the throughput fast enough, it doesn't matter how fast the throughput is as there will be a bottleneck until previous data input has been processed and outputted. Have to juggle these factors to achieve what works without bottlenecking.

    It's always the end result that matters. I would go with throughput. But remember processor speed is the main factor of throughput.

    Yes. I'd say, for practical purposes, the throughput is the ONLY thing that matters. What good is a fast processor if the algorithms it's using to process information are ineffiecient?

    Yes and no. That would depend entirely on what you were using the system for.
