I was talking to this girl and she was really hot and I was even getting a little aroused . I was wearing a Def Leppard shirt and she noticed it and asked me, "What's Def Leppard?" and I instantly lost all interest in her emotionally, and physically.

That's a good thing! (I'm female) At least you know you won't be sucked into a relationship with a really hot gold digger that's an idiot and be miserable =)
Finding someone that's compatible on a mental level is much more important, although you do have to be attracted to them too. You'll find a hot, intelligent girl don't worry!

Well that doesn't necessarily mean she's stupid, just incredibly unfortunate not to have been exposed to amazing bands. And it's because stupid people make one want to go cry for the future of humanity, which tends to negate feelings of arousal.
