What is wrong with Yahoo Instant Messenger 10?

For some time now people have been asking the same question with very little help - so, lets try again to get an answer - Does anyone know what is wrong with Yahoo Instant Messenger 10 lately. You can type a message during a conversation and when you hit enter to send - NO text appears in either window. This has been going on for some time now - any one know the answer..or what the problem is.?

    I think there is a gremlin in the system.

    I would suggest you post this question in the correct section, in this case under yahoo messenger.
